Nemigen is a collagen matrix wound dressing that kick starts the healing of non progressive chronic wounds while maintaining moist wound environment. It binds and inactivates the excess matrix metalloproteases (MMPs) which have inhibitory effect on wound healing. The dressing further attracts fibroblast, growth factors, promotes migration of keratinocytes and hence facilitates wound closure.
